International cooperation and development programs
In coordination with the COOPI network, COOPI Suisse participates in programs to support local development through decentralized offices in Africa, Latin America and in the Middle East, using the expertise of local professionals and expatriates, developing partnerships with public and private entities and involving at all levels local civil society.
Humanitarian emergencies
Faced with a humanitarian emergency, the experience and the ability to find innovative solutions permits the COOPI network to efficiently manage the immediate needs of the population. In particular, in the Middle East, destructed by the Syrian crisis, and near the Lake Chad region, affected by the violence of Boko Haram, the COOPI network has implemented an intervention model, not just locally, but among multiple countries, which allows to respond in a more coordinated and timely way to the needs of displaced and refugee communities.
