The policies have two goals: to help the Organization face core themes for its own programs and to share and agree upon the work approach; they clarify and help to disseminate the institutional position on the different topics.
The policies therefore complement the values and vision, specifying in more detail the working methods and strategy behind the schedules defined by the Organization. Currently COOPI has policies in Food Safety, Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction, Childhood, Gender, Education in Emergencies. Soon the Nutrition Policy and Protection Policy will be published which will complete the picture of the Organization’s focus areas.
