Lugano Human Rights Film Festival 2016

During the debate, organised by COOPI Suisse, at the fourth edition of the Film Festival of Human Rights in Lugano, COOPI's area manager Massimo Salvadori, was literally overwhelmed by the students' questions, who wanted to know, among other things, about the profession of becoming a humanitarian operator. The discussion's starting point was based on the film featured, which talked about the tragic situation in Mali, where a significant part of the country's Northern population had to flee from the rebels affiliated to ISIS. Human suffering, social injustice, the inadequacy of international policy interventions stir the hearts of new generations who try to understand and think outside of the preconceived schemes.
