By working within the COOPI network, COOPI Suisse develops and funds development and humanitarian emergency projects, relying on existing local structures and the expertise of both local and expatriate staff, partnerships with public and private entities, and strong collaboration with local civil society.
The selection of countries and projects to be funded is made in agreement with the COOPI Foundation and the local office in the target country. Together, they develop the project, monitor its progress, and evaluate the achievement of objectives and results.
Usually, COOPI Suisse collaborates with countries where it has already established a presence, but in cases of need, this network can be extended.
