We train cooperation professionals
Education is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.
COOPI Suisse is convinced that, in order to pursue equity and justice and to obtain a better balance in the world, it is necessary not only to work in developing countries, but also to promote education to development, training and awareness activities where it is based. It is of a main importance to contribute to develop and to extend a culture of « international solidarity », to let co-operation and humanitarian aid themes be known.
For this reason, since its constitution COOPI Suisse periodically proposes the following a training program in the Ticino Canton: training course “Introduction to International Cooperation”
The course runs for two days (see below the attached program) during which every aspect of international cooperation will be explored: What is international cooperation? Who are the key players involved? What is the path to follow in order to move to the South of the World as an international co-operator? What is a project’s life-cycle? Members of Coopi’s staff, together with experts and representatives from NGOs and local associations will focus on these and other questions by providing theoretical information and practical examples. Everyone can attend, regardless of their age, and no previous knowledge is required. The cost for both days is 120 Francs (90 for students and people currently unemployed). At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance. If you would like to attend, please fill in the form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org by May, 18.
