COOPI Suisse aspires to a world without poverty, able to concretely implement the ideals of equality and justice, sustainable development and social cohesion, thanks to the coming together and cooperation among all populations.

COOPI Suisse wants to contribute, through the commitment, motivation, determination and professionalism of its people, to the process of fighting poverty and to the growth of the communities with which it cooperates in the world, intervening in emergency situations, bringing reconstruction and development, to achieve a better balance between the North and the South of the planet, between "developed" areas and depressed or developing areas.

We strongly believe that in order to change things it is better to work together with others, each one making his own contribution, according to his possibilities. This is why we decided to be part of a network, the COOPI network, which possesses experience in cooperation and humanitarian aid, knowledge of the intervention countries thanks to years of local presence and collaboration with local actors, willingness to share interventions thereby merging capacities and maximising efforts, matured over 50 years.

As a young development aid organisation, COOPI Suisse can direct most of its donations to the activities in favour of the beneficiaries. Thereby, for its implementation, COOPI Suisse is able to rely on local and international staff of the international COOPI network, with which it shares the criteria for the identification of needs, the management of interventions, and the monitoring and evaluation of projects.

For us, credibility and reputation are invaluable. It is therefore essential to clearly express values, principles and common responsibilities that guide our behavior in relation to our donors, beneficiaries, project partners, people who work with us and with any interlocutor who is interested in our activities.

COOPI frames policies on key issues for its operations, in which it has consolidated experience in the field.

"An Annual Report is not just a list of things done, the results achieved, it is not only an accounting report for our donors regarding every single penny spent. An Annual Report is also to account for the idealism that one is committed to pursuing "- Claudio Ceravolo - President of the Foundation COOPI.

We wanted to equip ourselves with the means of an annual report, because in addition to documenting the activities carried out in the South of the world year after year, we want to share our strategies and working methods with our donors, partners and sympathizers.
